History

The story of “The Works” begins in 2002, in the former “Textile Machine Works” building, which dates back to 1896 and the origins of the textile industry in the Wyomissing area. Our name was inspired by the industrial history of the building, and our tagline “geared for fun” expresses our company’s greater purpose and promise.

We started our business with the vision of creating a fun, inspiring entertainment destination in our home town. We are glad that you have chosen to enjoy our unique and special place that we call “The Works!"
